Opening Night Game Conversation Circle.

It's opening night of the college football season, and the several games tonight include 4 involving Pac-12 teams. Half of them aren't on the Pac-12 Network, which means they are on most people's televisions.

There's also other interesting action, including the SEC opener, between South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

Oregon St. fans are deflated in the wake of Tropical Storm Isaac, as that wake led to the postponement (and potential eventual cancellation) of their season opener against Nicholls St.

But we can still watch football!

The Cougar claw-fest in Provo between Washington St., under the leadership of new coach Mike Leach, and BYU, Leach's alma mater interests me the most, and should hold the attention of all of Beaver Nation, since WSU and BYU are OSU's opponents the first two Saturday's in October.

Seeing how well Jeff Tuel has mastered flying the "Air Raid" offense should be very insightful, and getting an idea of how good BYU will be this year before hitting the road for Provo is interesting as well.

It's not just the Pac-12 fans that this appeals to either, ESPN is showing the game nationally.

In any event, pull up a recliner and enjoy some football! Here's the place to critique the Cougs, both the Crimson and the Blue ones, comment on the outlook for the rest of the league, or share frustrations about the Pac-12 Network.
