The Oregon St. mens' basketball team will once again participate in an early season tournament hosted at local sites, and then take a trip to New York, win or lose. Similar to this past Novermber's Ticket City Legends Classic, the Beavers will host a pair of games at Gill Coliseum, on November 9-11, and then, regardless of the outcome of those games, head to New York City, and Madison Square Garden, to play 2 games there, in the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Wounded Warriors Project.

Those 2 games will be played on Thursday and Friday, November 15 & 16.

The other 3 host teams that will be going to "The Garden" are Villanova, Alabama, and Purdue.

The football team will be at Stanford on the day before Veterans' Day, so there won't be any conflict on campus with these games, but those traveling for the football game will likely miss both basketball games.

The games will be a homecoming for the Beavers' Devon Collier, who grew up in the Bronx, NY.

The other teams to participate in Corvallis and the other 3 on-campus sites, and all the game matchups and times will be announced at a later date.

The tournament is being conducted by the Gazelle Group, which Beaver fans will recall is the sports marketing group that conducts the CBI Tournament.
