In the wake of the Alamo Bowl, Oregon St. has picked up a prospect for their 2013 recruiting class that could be a replacement for graduating All-American CB Jordan Poyer. As Sahr initially reported earlier, the Beavers have landed their first 4-star recruit for next year's class in Dashon Hunt.
Hunt is a 5'10", 175 lb. cornerback from Westlake High in Westlake Village, California, and has turned in 4.5 times in the 40. Both Rivals.com and Scout.com consider Hunt a 4-star recruit.
Defensive backs coach Rod Perry, who primarily recruited Hunt, beat out the likes of Boise St. and Nebraska, as well as 8 other Pac-12 programs for Hunt's services.
