In keeping with the unseasonable weather of late I have some out of season OSU baseball news and the Beavs have just released their 2013 schedule.
The season starts February 15th with the Palm Springs Tournament (featuring OSU, Gonzaga, Utah Valley, and UC Riverside), then the Beavs play four against San Diego State the next week, and come home to open a nine game home stand starting with Bryant on March 1st for three games, one against Portland, three against Texas State, and two against San Francisco (no not THAT SF team!).
The conference season starts with a trip to Tucson March 13-15, to take on defending national champion Arizona. The Pac-12 home opener is March 22, against Arizona St.
In one of the more interesting bits the Beavs play four in a row against the UO (three conference and one non-conference) at the end of the season, but unlike the last couple of years don't finish with the Civil War but with a series at home against WSU.
Additionally the non-conference schedule looks favorable but hopefully not too complacent favorable for I would imagine the Pac-12 (11) schedule will be as challenging as ever and even with this experienced OSU team coming back for the 2013 campaign they need to have some non-conference tests.

More baseball news to come as we hear more!
