A half dozen teams dropped down after losing this weekend, and another dropped clear out, though some were not upsets, as there were multiple games between ranked teams, when someone had to lose. And both Washington and UCLA went from being on the short list of teams being considered for the last spots to out of consideration, at least for a while.

Boise St. is the only western non-Pac-12 team to get attention, though BYU would propel themselves into the national picture if they make good on being made the early 2 1/2 point favorite over Oregon St. by pulling off an upset.
