Oregon St. will open the 2015 season with a home game against Weber St. on Sept. 5, Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis announced today. The Wildcats, a member of the FCS Big Sky Conference, will be facing the Beavers in football for the first time ever.
Oregon St. also added a home and home series with Nevada, who will move from the WAC to the Mt. West Conference next year. The series will start with a visit from the Wolfpack on Sept. 16, 2017. The Beavers will visit Reno on Sept. 15, 2018. Last year, Nevada posted a 13-1 record, which included an upset of Boise St., a team Oregon St. will host in 2016.
The games against Nevada will balance the previously signed series with Minnesota of the Big 10, which will see Oregon St. travel to Minneapolis on Sept. 9, 2017. The Golden Gophers will come to Reser on Sept. 8, 2018.
