The Preseason BlogPoll was released yesterday, and the 92 blogs that participate have voted Alabama as the top team in the nation heading into the season. The Beavers came in at tied for 66th, which is also tied for last, along with Hawaii, Navy, Dixie State, UAB, and Baylor. Take a look:

SB Nation BlogPoll
Poll breakdown after the break
Teams that BTD voted for but did not crack the Top 25
Pittsburgh - I ranked Pittsburgh at #10 in my ballot, but the Panthers didn't get much love from the rest of the nation. Pitt finished 30th in the voting, one spot behind Utah and one ahead of Houston. The blog that had them ranked closest to #10 was Linebacker-U, who put them at #12.
Texas - I put the Longhorns at #15 in my preseason poll, but in the end they narrowly missed out on the Top 25. Texas finished at #26, one behind USC and one ahead of Penn State. The three blogs that had the Horns higher than 15th were From the Rumble Seat, War Blog Eagle, and Linebacker-U (I'm starting to like these guys). They put Texas at 10th, 11th, and 13th, respectively.
Iowa - BTD put the Hawkeyes at #18, but they didn't get much love from the rest of the country. Iowa finished at #32 in the voting, one spot behind Houston and one before Michigan. Two blogs put the Hawkeyes at #16, From the Rumble Seat and Men of the Scarlet and Gray.
Clemson - I ranked the Tigers at #21 in my ballot, but they were way off the rest of the nation's radar. Clemson ended up at #38, with the blog ranking them highest being Tomahawk Nation, who put them at #10.
NC State - BTD put the Wolfpack at #23 in our preseason ballot, but once again, the nation didn't agree with our ACC love. The Pack came in at #56, with OBNUG (Who also put them at 23rd) being the only other blog that gave them a vote.
Miami (Florida) - The nation continued their ACC-bash fest by sticking the Fighting-Shapiro's in the ARV category. BTD ranked the Canes at #25 in our preseason ballot, but once they faced the nation they didn't fare too well. Miami finished at #39, with their highest ranking being 17.
Teams ranked exactly where BTD placed them
Alabama - While the AP and Coaches' polls had Oklahoma at number one, BTD started the trend of flipping the two teams. The nation followed, and boom, Alabama is your preseason #1.
Oklahoma - Look above!
South Carolina - I said in my original BlogPoll post that I thought the Gamecocks were pretty solid here, and it turns out that everyone thought so as well. We should learn a lot more from USC when they play at East Carolina this weekend.
Pac-12 Breakdown
Oregon, Stanford, and USC represented the Pac-12 in the actual Top 25, coming in at 3rd, 7th, and 25th respectively. Oregon received seven first-place votes, while the Cardinal also got one.
Going down to the ARV category, you begin to see a lot of Pac-12 members. There's Arizona State at #28, Utah at 29, Colorado at #52, Washington at 55th, Arizona comes in at #58, and Oregon state at T66.
Oregon State Watch
The Beavers received a single Top 25 vote to finish at T66 (And that was at #25), and it came from the blog Eagle in Atlanta.
