It was another rough morning for the Oregon St. football team, as another starter went down, when starting left guard Josh Andrews collided with DE Dylan Wynn. Andrews suffered a concussion and a stinger in the crash.

Head coach Mike Riley hopes that Andrews, a freshman, will be able to return to practice next week, when preparations specific to Sacramento St., the Beavers' opening game opponent, begin.

Before practice, Riley had re-directed offensive lineman Grant Enger to work, at least temporarily, at the TE position, after it became apparent that freshman Kellen Klute, injured in yesterday's scrimmage, is likely headed for surgery on his right knee.

Whether that plan can remain viable is now questionable, given that Enger was listed as Andrew's backup on the depth chart at the start of pre-season practice.

The Beavers will try to survive a 6:30 PM practice this evening in helmets and shoulder pads only without any further casualties.
