Fall Summer camp is approaching a week from Monday for the Oregon St. football team, and there have been a few personnel moves as the Beavers get ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work.
Junior Rueben Robinson has been moved from middle linebacker, where he started 7 times during the 2010 season, to outside linebacker, leaving the inside to junior Tony Wilson and Kevin Unga, both of whom also saw action there last year.
Two players have also left the program, and that affects the middle linebacker slot as well. Michael Bibbee, from Eugene, redshirted last season, was anticipated to compete for the starting job at middle linebacker as well.
The other move sees sophomore safety Dax Dilbeck leave the team.
Dilbeck, from Edmond, Okla., played in only 2 games last year on special teams before a knee injury ended his season.
Dilbeck, whom coach Mike Riley had projected a safety in the future, reportedly didn't participate very much during spring practices.
In other Oregon St. football news, two more ex-Beavers have signed free agent NFL contracts.
Safety Suaesi Tuimaunei has signed with the Atlanta Falcons, who drafted Jacquizz Rodgers, and linebacker Dwight Roberson with the New Orleans Saints. Tuimaunei and Roberson join Alex Linnenkohl, who signed with the Chicago Bears, who also drafted Stephen Paea, James Dockery, now with the Cleveland Browns, and Aaron Nichols, with the Arizona Cardinals, as undrafted free agents in NFL Camps.
