The NCAA made it official late Monday night that Oregon St. is headed to Nashville, TN, for the Super Regional best of 3 series, to face Vanderbilt. The winner moves on to the College World Series in Omaha.

Friday's game will be at 5 PM PDT, and be televised on ESPNU. Saturday's game will be at 6 PM, and televised on ESPN2. The neither team sweeps the first two games, the "if" necessary game will be on Sunday, and will be at 1, 4 or 7 PM. The specific time and TV coverage (it will be ESPM, ESPN2, or ESPNU) will be announced later, dependent on other series outcomes.

All games will be streamed live on ESPN3.com for those who have an internet provider on ESPN's "approved" list.

Speculation that the Beavers might get to host ran rampant after Baseball America first reported that flights to Nashville and hotel rooms were almost all already booked due to a major country music festival in Nashville at this weekend, a situation quickly confirmed when Beaver boosters and the local media attempted to find travel arrangements.

Vanderbilt, however, had somewhat prepared for the hotel crunch, and blocked off rooms for the visiting team and NCAA officials. No provisions for others were made, or a factor in the site decision, and tickets actually went on sale Sunday night. This will be the first time Vanderbilt has hosted a Super Regional.

The Beavers will travel Wednesday, and are scheduled to work out at Vanderbilt's Hawkins field on Thursday.

Arizona St.'s series in Austin against Texas and Stanford's series in Chapel Hill against North Carolina will also begin on Friday, while California's series against Dallas Baptist, and Arizona's, if they win today against Texas A&M, will both begin on Saturday.

The site for the California-Dallas Baptist series is still to be determined. Unfortunately, California's home field does not have lights, and does not meet minimum standards to host post-season play.

The winner of today's Texas A&M-Arizona game will travel to Tallahassee, to face Florida St.
