Beavers Receive O-Line Commitment

Gavin_andrews_medium
Oregon St. has received the verbal commitment of a three-star offensive lineman. Gavin Andrews, a 6'5" 280 lb. lineman from Granite Bay High in Granite Bay, CA, is rated at three stars by both Scout.com and Rivals.com.

Andrews selected the Beavers after attending camp at Oregon St. this past weekend, and stated that he enjoyed the camp, and getting to meet the coaches.

Andrews didn’t do a full workout at the camp, due to a meniscus tear he suffered during wrestling season.

Other Pac-12 schools pursuing Andrews included Arizona, Utah, Washington St., and Colorado.

Andrews becomes the Beavers' 4th. recruit for the 2012 season, joining 6'3", 195 lb. WR Mark Gilmore from Lakewood, CA, 6'6", 210 lb. TE Dustin Stanton from Marysville, WA, and 6'1", 170 lb. DB Cleveland Wallace from San Jose, CA.
