Oregon St. mens' basketball team Captain Kevin McShane will be a scholarship player in his senior season, head Coach Craig Robinson announced.
McShane, a second generation Beaver basketball player, is a two time team captain, and has been a walk-on for Oregon St. for two years, after spending one year at Clackamas Community College.
"Kevin is the only player who came in when we got here three years ago," Robinson said. "He has done a tremendous job on and off the court, and has been terrific in the classroom. He's worked hard in practice, and earned some starters minutes. We really look forward to have him continue his leadership that he has exhibited since he joined our program."
McShane has played in 68 games in his Oregon St. career, and was one of two Beavers who played in all 31 games last season, averaging 0.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
Congratulations, Kevin!
