Oregon (5-6) @ Oregon State (9-3) - 5:35 PM (PST) - Goss Stadium at Coleman Field, Corvallis, OR - 1240 KEJO/1550 KKOV - Live Video on BNO, for a fee

Oregon State and Oregon meet at 5:35 PM west coast time tonight in the first of five Civil War baseball games this season. This will be the fifth of a nine game homestand for the Beavers. Oregon State will also face New Mexico State (2), and VMI (2).

Oregon State comes into this game with an overall record of 9-3. The Beavers opened up the season in Fresno, where they went 2-2. After the FSU Tournament, the team traveled to Texas, where they went 3-1. Oregon State then came home for a four game series against Hartford, which they swept.

The Ducks come into Corvallis with an overall record of 5-6. Oregon opened up the season in Hawaii, where they split a four game series with the Warriors. The Ducks then came home, where they went 2-1 against St. Mary's Gaels. And last weekend, the Ducks went 1-2 against the Long Beach State Dirtbags.

Both teams starting pitchers are TBA.

Last year, Oregon went 40-24 and were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in the Norwich Regional.

The weather is expected to be nasty all night. The Weather Channel calls for 51° and showers at 5:35 PM, with showers continuing and the temperature dropping to 49° in the later innings.

After the single game with Oregon, the Beavers will open the Oregon State Tournament against New Mexico State at 5:35 PM. That will be the Aggies second game of the day, as they are scheduled to play against VMI earlier on Friday.

Go Beavers!
