Seattle University (9-6) @ Oregon State (15-5) - 3:05 PM (PDT) - Goss Stadium at Coleman Field, Corvallis, OR - 1240 KEJO/1550 KKOV / - Live Video on BNO, for a fee

Oregon State and Seattle University meet at 3:05 PM west coast time today to conclude the two game series between the Beavers and Redhawks. After today's meeting, the Beavers will welcome the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos for a three game series, beginning on Friday.

Oregon State comes into today with an overall record of 15-5. The Beavers have good wins against Connecticut, Oregon, and Long Beach State (2). Their bad losses have came against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Seattle University. The Beavers are currently on a two game losing streak after losing to Long Beach State on Saturday and against Seattle University last night. Oregon State is currently ranked 23rd in the nation.

The Redhawks come into the series with an overall record of 8-6. Their wins have came against Cal State Northridge (2), Notre Dame (2), Portland (2), Washington, San Jose State, and Oregon State. Their losses have came against Cal State Northridge (2), Notre Dame, Portland, and San Jose State (2). Three of their games, two against Pacific Lutheran and one against San Jose State, have been cancelled due to rain and field conditions. After the short series with the Beavers, Seattle will stay in Oregon and face the Portland Pilots on Friday and Saturday.

Both teams' starters are TBA. Oregon St. will start Scott Schultz (0-0), while Seattle will send out Max Whieldon (0-2).

Last year, Seattle University went 11-31 and went 0-1 against Oregon State. Last night, of course, Seattle overcame an early 4-0 Oregon St. lead, mostly with a 4 run 7th. inning, to upset the Beavers 5-4.

The weather is is expected to be wet for the duration of the game. The Weather Channel calls for 54° and showers at 3:05 PM, with showers continuing through the end of the game and the temperature dropping to 50°. If it is too wet to play, the teams could get the game in tomorrow because both teams will still be in the state anyway.

After todayt's meeting, the Beavers will begin their three game series with the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos at 5:35 PM on Friday. The series will continue with a 2:05 PM first pitch on Saturday and a 1:05 PM first pitch on Sunday.

Go Beavers!
