Corvallis Regional Breakdown

The Beavers grab the last one seed in the field and therefore the last regional hosting site. So instead of traveling somewhere across the nation, Oregon State welcomes perennial tournament teams North Carolina and James Madison, along with upstart Mississippi State.

The Tar Heels are 18-3 so far this year, with good wins at Cal State Fullerton and at home against Charlotte and Stony Brook (3). James Madison is 15-5 so far this season and their only meeting with a projected tournament team was a 7-3 loss at Virginia. The Bulldogs are 15-6 so far this year with a good 9-8 victory at Vanderbilt.
