Game 15 Open Thread: Washington

OSU @ UW - 3:30 PM - Bank of America Arena - FSN NW

The Beavers continue Pac-10 play this afternoon against Washington. The Beavers are coming off a 84-70 loss against Washington State on Thursday.

The Beavers (7-7, 2-1 in the Pac-10) trailed by as many as 19 against the Cougars, a defecit too big to dig out of against a good team on the road. Jared Cunningham led the Beavers with 18 points.

As far as starters go, the Beavers have gone with Angus Brandt, Omari Johnson, Devon Collier, Jared Cunningham and Calvin Haynes so far in all three Pac-10 games. Expect that lineup today when the Beavers take the court.

Head coach Craig Robinson had this to say on the Washington game, "We need to have a good start and play like we were playing in the middle of this game at the beginning to see if that changes things for them. I always think when guys play loose, they play better. And when teams are used to having leads and don't have a lead, it's hard for them."

Washington is currently 11-3 (3-0 in the Pac-10) on the season.

The Huskies are on a five game winning streak, with victories over San Francisco, Nevada, USC, UCLA, and Oregon. Their losses have came against Kentucky, Michigan State, and Texas A&M.

Remember, tip-off is set for 3:30 PM on FSN NW.

Go Beavers!
