Game 14 Open Thread: Washington State

OSU @ WSU - 7:00 PM - Friel Court - Radio on KPAM 860
The Beavers continue Pac-10 play tonight against Washington State. The Beavers are coming off a 76-75 win against Arizona on Sunday.

The Beavers (7-6) went back and forth with the Wildcats all night, but four huge free throws by Calvin Haynes in the final ten seconds sealed the victory. Calvin Haynes led the Beavers with 18 points.

As far as starters go, the Beavers have gone with Angus Brandt, Omari Johnson, Devon Collier, Jared Cunningham and Calvin Haynes so far in both Pac-10 games. Expect that lineup tonight when the Beavers take the court.

Head coach Craig Robinson had this to say on the Washington State game, "They're going to be very hungry. We've been on that side, so I know exactly what they're going through. This game's really important to them."

Washington State is currently 10-4 on the season.

The Cougars had a great non-conference season, but they have lost three in a row against Butler, UCLA, and USC. Their notable wins have came against Portland, Gonzaga, and 15th ranked Baylor.

Remember, tip-off is set for 7:00 PM on KPAM 860.

Go Beavers!
