Arizona State 60, Oregon 55: The Pac-10 season continued Saturday night at McArthur Court, with the final ever men's basketball game taking place at the historic gym. Both teams were 0-1 in Pac-10 play coming into Saturday night, so both teams were desperate to avoid getting swept on the opening weekend of conference play.

The Sun Devils looked to be in control of the game in the first five minutes of the first half. With some hot shooting by the Devils, ASU got off to a quick 11-3 advantage. The Ducks didn't panic though, and slowly climbed their way back into the game. After eventually pulling even at 15, the rest of the half went back and forth. Arizona State took a 28-24 lead into the locker rooms, thanks to a Brandon Dunson jumper with 5 seconds left.

The second half was a fun one, with one team trying to get a road victory, and the other trying to send Mac Court out in style. One team would make a small run, but the other would answer with a key basket.

With ASU leading by one with 35 seconds remaining, Carrick Felix slipped behind the Ducks defense and put home a layup to give ASU a three point lead. Oregon had a chance to answer, but E.J. Singler missed the tying three pointer, Felix sunk two more free throws, and the Sun Devils escaped Oregon with a 1-1 record.

Felix led the Sun Devils with 19 points, while Singler led Oregon with 19 of his own.
