Game 13 Open Thread: Arizona

OSU vs Arizona - 7:00 PM - Gill Coliseum - FSN

The Beavers continue Pac-10 play tonight against Arizona. The Beavers are coming off a 80-58 win against Arizona State on Thursday, the first time they have won their Pac-10 opener in 6 years.

The Beavers (6-6) pulled away from the Sun Devils in the 2nd Half, outscoring ASU by 18 in the final twenty minutes. Joe Burton came off the bench to lead the Beavers with 17 points.

As far as starters go, the Beavers have been mixing it up lately. Against ASU, Angus Brandt, Omari Johnson, and Devon Collier got the start down low, with Jared Cunningham and Calvin Haynes in the backcourt. Expect that lineup tonight when the Beavers take the court.

Head coach Craig Robinson had this to say on Arizona after Thursday's game, "They are very athletic. They have arguably the best player in the league in (Derrick) Williams. They also have some very good pieces to go along with that."

Arizona is currently 12-2 on the season.

Some notable Wildcat victories have came against Idaho State, North Carolina State, and Oregon. Their losses have came against Kansas and BYU.

Remember, tip-off is set for 7:00 PM on FSN.

Go Beavers!
