The Beavers continue Pac-10 play tonight against UCLA. The Beavers are coming off a 103-72 loss against UCLA on Saturday.

The Beavers (7-8, 2-2 in the Pac-10) only trailed by one at Half against the Huskies, but an offensive explosion in the second half gave Washington the win. Jared Cunningham led the Beavers with 21 points.

As far as starters go, the Beavers have gone with Angus Brandt, Omari Johnson, Devon Collier, Jared Cunningham and Calvin Haynes so far in all four Pac-10 games. Expect that lineup today when the Beavers take the court.

Head coach Craig Robinson had this to say on the UCLA game during Tuesday's press conference, "This weekend is probably going to be the toughest test on our ability to rebound better than we have been in the past. (Reeves) Nelson, (Josh) Smith and (Tyler) Honeycutt are three of the best rebounders in the league and they know they are, and they're probably going to attack the boards against us so we have to prevent that. We need to try to put their big people in bad positions."

Nelson, shown scoring against Joe Burton in last year's game (photo by Andy Panda), had a 14 point, 12 rebound double double to lead the Bruins to a 62-52 win in last year's visit to Gill.

At 6'8", 235 lbs., 6'10", 305 lbs., and 6'9", 190 lbs., the Bruin front line represents a challenging matchup for Oregon St. Guards Malcolm Lee and Lazeric Jones typically round out the UCLA starting lineup.

UCLA is currently 9-6 (1-2 in the Pac-10) on the season.

The Bruins notable wins have came against BYU, Washington State, and UC Irvine. Their losses have came against Villanova, VCU, Kansas, Montana, Washington, and USC.

Remember, tip-off is set for 5:30 PM on FSN NW.

Go Beavers!
