Each week I will be predicting five College Football Games against the spread. If you want to, post your picks in the comments and if we get enough people we could make a contest out of it. Enjoy!
The Thomas Kemper Stone Cold Locks
Wisconsin @ UNLV, Saturday, Versus, 8:00 PM Pacific (Wisconsin by 20.5) : UNLV may have home field advantage in this one, but I don't see that stopping an explosive Badger team. Expect the Rebels to keep it close for a quarter, but Wisconsin's depth will turn this one into a blowout. Prediction: Wisconsin-34, UNLV-10
Northern Illinois @ Iowa State, Thursday, FSN, 5:00 PM Pacific (Iowa State by 3.5) : Even though it's the Cyclones, I expected the spread to be much bigger against a rebuilding NIU team. Prediction: Iowa State-23, Northern Illinois-10
USC @ Hawaii, Thursday, ESPN, 8:00 PM Pacific (USC by 21) : I'm one of the believers that USC will play some uninspired Football this year based on the fact that they won't be going to a Bowl Game. However, opening the season in Hawaii on ESPN is basically impossible not to get pumped up about, and Lane Kiffin will have his team ready. Prediction: USC-30, Hawaii-7
The Likely
Arkansas State @ Auburn, Saturday, FSN South, 4:00 PM Pacific (Auburn by 31) : I don't know much about Auburn, but I'm guessing they will beat ASU by more than 31. Prediction: Auburn-35, Arkansas State-3
Memphis @ Mississippi State, Saturday, ESPNU, 4:00 PM Pacific (Mississippi State by 21) : The Bulldogs should get off to what I think will be a breakout season for them with a great start. Prediction: Mississippi State-31, Memphis-7
Record on the season: 0-0
Feel free to tell me how wrong I am in the comments section and don't forget to make your picks.
