The Pac-10 named Oregon St.'s Tanner Robles the Pac-10 pitcher of the week for his 12 strikeout performance in the Beavers' 12-2 win over the Maine Black Bears Saturday, one of four wins over the weekend by the Beavers.
Robles allowed two hits in the win, which improved his record to 4-1, and lowered his ERA to 1.72, best among the Beavers' regular pitchers.
The weekend's performance raised the Beavers to anywhere from ninth to 17th. in the various baseball polls, a move up in all cases.
