Week 6 College Football Predictions

Each week I will be predicting five College Football Games against the spread. If you want to, post your picks in the comments and if we get enough people we could make a contest out of it. Enjoy!

The Thomas Kemper Stone Cold Locks

San Jose State @ Nevada, Saturday, 7:35 PM Pacific, ESPNU (Nevada by 39) : The Spartans will be lucky to even score against a tough Wolfpack Defense. Expect Nevada to roll. Prediction: Nevada-42, San Jose State-0

Michigan State @ Michigan, Saturday, 12:30 PM Pacific, ABC (Michigan by 5) : I can't wait for this one. This should be one of the best games of the week with a Heisman contender on one side and a gritty MSU team on the other. I think Michigan wins because of Denard Robinson and the home-field advantage, but it could go either way. Prediction: Michigan-31, Michigan State-21

Alabama @ South Carolina, Saturday, 12:30 PM Pacific, CBS (Alabama by 6.5) : I think Bama should control the game, but South Carolina will hang around just long enough to make the Crimson Tide nervous. Prediction: Alabama-31, South Carolina-21

The Likely

UCLA @ California, Saturday, 12:30 PM Pacific, FSN (California by 7.5) : This should be another great Pac-10 battle. Both teams look pretty even on paper and are led by two great Quarterbacks. It should be a close one all the way. I'll take the Golden Bears in Overtime, but they don't cover. Prediction: California-31, UCLA-24

Pittsburgh @ Notre Dame, Saturday, 12:30 PM Pacific, NBC (Notre Dame by 6) :
Once again, what should be another good game. I see this one going back and forth all day, with the Fighting Irish winning it on a last second Field Goal. Prediction: Notre Dame-23, Pittsburgh-21

Record on the season: 13-12

Feel free to tell me how wrong I am in the comments section and don't forget to make your picks.

Go Beavers!
