A look at the Pac-10's top Non-Conference Games after the break.

RPI Boosters

by ConnorOSU

Here’s a look at the Non-Conference Games that will boost the Pac-10’s RPI’s going into March.

All Times Pacific

Arizona
State @ New Mexico, November 16th, 7:00 PM, Versus

ASU’s schedule is relatively easy except for this season opener at the Pit.

California vs Temple, November 25th, 6:00 PM, ESPN2

The defending Pac-10 Champs lose many players, but will still contend for another conference championship. Match that against an up and coming Temple team, and this should be a great matchup.

Oregon vs Duke, November 27th, 1:00 PM, FSN

A huge game for Oregon, as the #1 Ranked Blue Devils makes their way across the country. The Ducks won’t win this game, but we’ll find out a lot about them if they keep is close.

Arizona vs Kansas, November 27th, 7:30 PM, ESPN

This one will be played in Las Vegas, pitting a Preseason Top 10 Jayhawks team against an underrated Arizona club. Watch out for the upset in this one.

UCLA @ Kansas, December 2nd, 6:00 PM, ESPN

Yet another Pac-10 Game for Kansas, but this one will be in Lawrence where KU rarely loses.

Kansas State @ Washington State, December 3rd, 8:00 PM, FSN

Another Pac-10-Big 12 matchup, this one featuring the 5th Ranked Wildcats of Kansas State. We’ll find out soon if the Cougars are for real or not.

Texas Tech @ Washington, December 4th, 1:00 PM, FSN

The Pac-10-Big 12 Challenge always provides some good matchups, and this year is no exception. If UW gets past the Red Raiders, they should go into Pac-10 Play undefeated.

Oregon State @ Colorado, December 4th, 7:00 PM, ESPNU

After a few years of mediocrity, the Buffaloes will finally be contending in the Big 12. If Oregon State wins this game, then the Beavers have a good chance of getting through non-conference play unscathed.

San Diego State @ California, December 8th

A big in-state rivalry for both teams should help Cal’s strength of schedule come March.

Gonzaga @ Washington State, December 8th, 8:00 PM, FSN

The Cougars non-conference schedule is very tough this season, but a win against the Zags would be huge for their confidence.

USC @ Kansas, December 18th, 9:00 AM, ESPN

The Trojans will have a tough time in this one, but it should help their RPI.

Stanford @ Butler, December 18th, 11:00 AM

Watch out for the Cardinal in this one. A very talented Cardinal ball club will have nothing to lose against the defending NCAA Tournament Runner-Ups.

Arizona @ NC State, December 19th, 1:30 PM, FSN

Interesting matchup here. The Wolfpack should be much improved from last season and same with the Wildcats.

USC @ Tennessee, December 21st, 4:00 PM, FSN PT

It doesn’t get any easier for the Trojans after the Kansas game. Next up will be a very good Tennessee team. Whatever happens, USC’s RPI will sky-rocket after that road trip.

Kansas
@ California, December 22nd

This will be the Jayhawks fourth and final Pac-10 game, and they should win fairly easily.

So there you have it. Make sure to check back tomorrow when I break down the 2010-2011 Oregon State Basketball team.

Go Beavers!
