Oregon St. at Washington St. / 4:00pm / TV on FSN, Radio on KPAM 860
Craig Robinson made it clear after Oregon State's six point loss to Washington on Thursday that the Beavers aren't a team who can blame poor officiating yet. They're still at the stage where they're more or less shooting themselves in the foot.
But for the Washington State Cougars, there's no question that they're blaming the officials for their Thursday night, double-overtime loss to the Oregon Ducks. Whether it was the right call or not, it changed/decided the outcome of the game, and WSU ended up on the wrong side of the deal. The technical foul was called on the WSU bench after DeAngelo Casto's buzzer-beating layup fell through the net, Tajuan Porter made the free-throws, and to double overtime the game went, where the Ducks won.
Expect that result to be in the back of WSU's mind when they play the Beavers today, looking to get their first Pac-10 win under head coach Ken Bone on their home court.
The Washington State game preview is here. The WSU perspective can be found over at CougCenter. Again, a reminder that tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM PST on FSN NW. I won't be present in the open thread, but I'm DVRing the game and will be back tonight with the full recap.
