Pac-10 TV Schedule, Week 4

With Pac-10 conference play getting going full-bore, there are only five games this week, with four being league games. The "premier" game nationally, TV wise is that one non-conference contest.

ESPNU has a national broadcast of the Arizona St. Sun Devils’ visit to Athens to play the Georgia Bulldogs, at 4:00.

The conference game of the week is in Eugene, at 12:30, when the California Golden Bears, and Jahvid Best and Beaverton, OR, product Kevin Riley visit the Oregon Ducks, who have promised to showcase throwback uniforms in this one. ABC has a regional telecast of the game, and it is the only Pac-10 game available nationally on the ESPN360 premium package.

The Arizona Wildcats visit the Oregon State Beavers at 4:30, and the game will be broadcast nationally, sort of, by Versus. Sort of because Versus, which is owned by Comcast, is no longer available to Direct TV customers.

Saturday night, the Washington St. Cougars visit the Los Angeles Coliseum to take on the USC Trojans at 7:15. The game will be carried nationally by the network of regional Fox networks.

A little earlier, at 6:00, the Washington Huskies visit the Stanford Cardinal. The game will be carried in the bay area and some other markets, including the Seattle area, by Fox’s College Sports channel (FCS). Neither Dish network or Direct TV carry the FCS channel in the valley markets.

UCLA has a bye this week.

Another notable game on ESPN360 sends the WAC’s Fresno St. Bulldogs to Cincinnatti, to play the Bearcats, at 9 AM Pacific time (noon kickoff).
