As I said earlier in the week, the Beavers need a good showing in this series. Depending on how the next month, this series could be the difference between the Beavers getting into the post-season or not, or the difference between them hosting a regional or having to travel to earn a spot in the Super Regionals.
Even though there are several weeks left in the season, the way the Beavers play against No. 1 Arizona State will tell us a lot about the potential of this team.
You saw what happened to the Blazers after they lost Game 1 against Houston. The Beavers need to start this series strong-- it could mean a lot.
