Here we are in Week 3 of College Basketball. After an interesting 2nd week the standings saw a little bit of seperation. But everyone is still in it and ready to close out the month.
There are only a couple of good games this week, but I did my best to find some good matchups. And guess what, more than 42 hours to make your first pick! So without further to do, here are your Week 3 picks. All times are Pacific.
Oakland @ Kansas, Wednesday, 5:00 PM
Minnesota vs Butler, Thursday, 5:30 PM
Tennessee Tech @ Kansas, Friday, 5:00 PM
Florida @ Michigan State, Friday, 5:00 PM
Texas @ Rice, Sunday, 1:00 PM
Since Kansas is up there twice, please refer to them in the comments section as "Kansas-Wednesday" or "Kansas-Friday."
The Kansas-Oakland game is up there for the slight possibility of an uspet, and the other Jayhawk game is only up there because it is on TV. Minnesota-Butler should be a good game, and will give you something to watch on Thanksgiving night.
The Florida-Michigan State game should be close for a half, and who knows, if Michigan State is sleeping Florida could pull the upset. Finally, Texas-Rice is up there because it is a small rivalry game and since it is at Rice who knows what could happen.
Don't forget that even if you miss some games, you can still make your picks. Just the games that have been played before won't count.
Remember to rank your picks on a confidence scale of one to five, with five being the most confident and one being the least. Also, if you miss the first game, then the scale is four to one and so on. Let me know if that doesn't make sense.
I'll have the standings up on either Sunday or Monday.
Happy Picking!
