Women's Soccer Set for Rare Sweet 16 Appearance

Oregon State at Notre Dame - 4:30 pm, South Bend, Ind. - Video at www.und.com

Following their dramatic 1-0 victory over the University of Florida last weekend, the Oregon State Women's Soccer team will continue their historic trek through the NCAA Tournament today as they play against Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. in the round of 16.

"Taking on Notre Dame in its own stadium is going to be a great challenge, but we are going to go out and give it everything we have," head coach Linus Rhode said. "We need to stick to our game plan and do our best to get them out of their rhythm."

The game will be played at 4:30 pm today, and video will be available at www.und.com.

The winner of the match between Oregon State and Notre Dame will advance to the Elite Eight to face the winner of No. 1 seeded Florida State and Texas A&M next weekend.
