Open Thread: OSU at Cal

Pregame: It's the first game that head coach Craig Robinson will enter as brother-in-law of the President of the United States... and let's hope that the President will exchange a phone call with Robinson on the BlackBerry he gets to keep while in office. Coach Rob and the Beavers will definitely have their hands full with the Bears, who enter the game with a 4-1 record in the Pac-10, their only loss coming against rival Stanford last weekend. The Bears are the best three-point shooting team in the country, which means Oregon State's zone defense will either need to hope that the Bears struggle from behind the arc and must find a way to penetrate, or it could be a long night. Perhaps we will see some man-to-man tonight? I don't like our zone against the likes of sharp-shooters Theo Robertson and Jerome Randle.

Remember-- tonight's game is not being televised. Check back into the blog at 7:30 if you want to chat during the game. I'll be providing some loose play-by-play for those interested.
