Here's how Oregon State's five golfers faired:
“We got off to a good start. Our number one and two guys James [Allenby] and Diego [Velasquez], they just had a tough tournament,” said men’s golf head coach Brian Watts. “We were hanging around 11th or 12thfor a while, a couple shots out of 10th and then we hit some poor shots coming in and that was the difference.”
The Beavers finished ten strokes out of tenth place, which would have qualified them for nationals.
GO BEAVERS!
