Indiana decides on Fred Glass, De Carolis is staying put

ESPN.com is reporting this morning that Indiana University has decided to go with almuns and laywer Fred Glass as their replacement for Rick Greenspan. Supposedly, they'll announce this in a press conference this morning.

From ESPN:

The Indianapolis Star reported on Monday night that IU president Michael McRobbie made the final decision after a search committee presented him with three finalists.

Glass has been involved in many Indiana sporting ventures, including the construction of Lucas Oil Stadium and trying to secure a Super Bowl for Indianapolis. He was the chief of staff for former Indiana governor Evan Bayh.

Indiana has lost three scholarships and is still waiting to find out if the NCAA will impose further sanctions in the wake of former coach Kelvin Sampson's phone-call scandal.

Great news for the Beavers.

I'm sure more details will emerge on this story, but for now, we've still got our man.
