BTD Readers give Emerald Bowl MVP honors to Yvenson

Even though I selected James Rodgers as my offensive MVP of the Emerald Bowl, Building the Dam readers gave the honors to senior tailback Yvenson Bernard. The results are below.

As you can see, MVP honors for the game were clearly a two horse race, and that's why we should settle with giving Bernard and Rodgers Co-MVP honors. It's nearly impossible to determine which player was more valuable. We couldn't have won without Bernard's 177 yards, and we also couldn't have won without James Rodgers' 170 all purpose yards, receiving touchdown, and fumble recovery for a touchdown inside the five.

So let's settle with that.

Yvenson Bernard and James Rodgers: 2007 Emerald Bowl Co-MVP's.

Any objections?

GO BEAVERS!
