Just got back from the beach... I should probably be writing about the Ducks reinstating baseball or what our baseball and football teams will be like next year, but the ESPYS are that shining object at the end of the tunnel for me right now.
Now, the ESPYS were recorded on Wednesday, so everyone and their dog knows who won the awards, but I do not. I'm not joking... SportsCenter is playing in the background right now, and when they went to announce the notable winners of ESPY's, I covered my ears and looked away. No joke. I'm clean.
The BuildingTheDam party for tonight's festivities will be held in the comment's section-- I don't have the energy to do one of those minute by minute live blog things.
You can view the nominees after the jump. Most, including me, feel the Beavers got shafted, as they're not even nominated for a single ESPY. (Pat Casey for best coach, OSU for best Championship Performance, OSU for best Team, etc.) Maybe you have to three-peat to get an ESPY at the college level, unless you live in the state of Florida.
Anyway, with Jimmy and LeBron hosting, it should be a good show. Join me in the comment thread, if you wish. I won't say much. Besides-- you guys already know who won the awards. I don't.

Remember, I'm clean. Don't reveal any secrets.
Go BEAVERS!
