Here's a rundown of how Oregon State Athletics fared over the weekend.
We'll start things off with baseball like we normally do. The Beavers won 1 of 3 from the Huskies, the lone win coming in the final game on Sunday. The Beavers lost Game 1 6-2 on Friday at Safeco Field, then lost on Saturday 9-6 at Husky Ballpark. The Beavers rebounded on Sunday, and won 8-2, avoiding a sweep. The Softball team didnt' have a very good weekend, as they lost three games to the Arizona schools. They only have three games left before post season. We'll keep you posted.
The Golf team is headed for the NCAA Regionals.
The Beavers gymnasts are finished for the year, and just had their banquet.
As always, more will be coming as the week progresses. Most sports are starting to wind down, which means that OSU will soon go into near hibernation. Don't worry, we'll be here to talk Beavers all throughout the off season. We've got a long ways to go before Utah on August 30, and a long way way to go before Omaha.
Go Beavers!
