The Beavers and Rebels made up yesterday's game this morning, and it went the way of the Beavers by a score of 10-2. Here's a look at the inning-by-inning recap:
Kowalski grounded out to second to start the game, then Patterson hit Roundy with a pitch to put him on first. HE got two consecutive ground outs to the left side, however, and escaped the inning.
CF Chris Hopkins lined out to second to start the game, then Jason Ogata singled up the middle. He stole second, and then Canham hit a ball that should of been a double, but he was thrown out on the relay. He still got an RBI, and the Beavers got the early lead. Lissman struck out swinging to end the inning.
Xavier Scruggs struck out to start the inning for the Rebels, then Bonnell singled. Patterson balked, advancing Bonnell to third, but then Patterson struck out Bowman for the second out. Beuerlein singled through the left side putting the runner at third, but Jarred Frierson grounded out to the pitcher to end the inning.
The Beavers didn't do very much damage in this inning... Barney grounded out, Lennerton walked, Santschi struck out, and Drew George hit into a fielder's choice.
Kowalski walked, then Roundy was out on a bunt, but advanced Kowalski to second. Smith fouled out to right field, and Kowalski moved up again, this time tagging up on the fly. Yet again with a runner on third, the Rebels couldn't get the run home as Miller flied out to right.

The Rebels went to their bullpen, and Mitch Canham promptly hit a Grand Slam to right field for 4 RBI's, and gave the Beavers their seventh run of the inning. Lissman flied out to right, Barney walked, and then Lennerton grounded out to end the inning.
Patterson faced the minimum in the fifth, striking out Frierson, popping up Kowalski, and striking out Roundy.
