After a Spring Break RV trip to the beach, that included, among things, carrying my bike on my back from a "bike path" to the beach over like a quarter mile of dunes covered with logs and rocks, I'm back.
I have a lot of catching up to do, and what better place to start than baseball.
The Beavers have won all 6 of their games since the last time we've talked; that included a 3 game sweep of San Francisco, as well as a three game sweep of Cal Poly. Here's a look at those games:

Cal Poly:

The Beavers square off with Arizona today to start the Pac-10 Season, and we'll talk more about that later.
Elsewhere, the Men's Golf team finished second at the Duck Invitational last weekend at Eugene Country Club, one of the best finishes ever for the team. They finished six strokes behind USC, but they managed to beat #1 ranked Stanford, #10 ranked UCLA, as well as eight other schools. In all, the Beavers beat 7 schools ranked higher than them. The Women's team placed third out of 14 schools at the women's Duck Invite, held at Shadow Hills Country Club.
The 9th ranked Gymnastics squad is headed to Tempe for the Pac-10 Championships, which will be held tomorrow. If you're interested, the meet will be available for you to watch via tape delay on April 5th at noon, and April 7th at 11:30.
The Beavers and Wildcats will square off on the Diamond at 7:00 p.m. tonight. We'll get some more coverage of that game later in the day, but until then,
Go Beavers!
