The Bulldogs had revenge on their mind when Oregon State came to Foley Field, since the last time these two teams played Oregon State eliminated Georgia from the College World Series. It wasn't the case, as Oregon State rallied to score 6 runs in the top of the eighth, propelling them to a 10-8 win.
Mike Lissman went 3-for-5, with a double and four runs batted in. He also had a two-run single in the top of the ninth. Oregon State is now 5-0 after getting 4 wins in Hawaii two weeks ago.
The Beavers and Bulldogs will square off in Game 2 today. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Foley Field.
