I realize that safety Al Afalava makes many hits, and made many in the Civil War, but let's take a look at the hit Al put on Oregon WR Jeffery Maehl towards the end of the second quarter:
Afalava has been getting in trouble for stuff like this all year long. Whether it was a cheap shot or not, there's no way Al is intentionally trying to give Maehl a blow to the head. He's just trying to make the play, just like the Locker hit.
