Every game is a big game in college football, but with the Cougars needing to beat both the Beavers and the Huskies to get to a bowl, they there ones that are desperate for the win. Oregon State earned bowl eligibility last week, and with Lyle Moevao at quarterback, two members of the secondary sitting out the first half with suspensions, and a pass-first team in Washington State lining up against them, it's not going to be an easy win.
With only two Pac-10 games being played today, one on ABC FSN probably didn't have much of a choice but to televise the Beavers and the Cougars. Martin Stadium will be populated sporadically today-- the Students are basically off for Thanksgiving Break. What would you rather do-- spend extra time at home and catch the game on TV, or stick around in rainy Pullman and watch the 4-6 Cougars in person?
The Beavers will need to get a pass rush and keep the game in front of them if they want to contain the 3,000 yard passer.
Again, the game starts at 3:30 on FSN. Come back then to chat in the comment thread-- we'll be here.
