Nine games left. The good news? It's a new month. The bad news? We're still the same team. You've seen those guys play, so have I. Can it get better from here?
Here are the most recent Pac-10 standings. At least the Ducks are rolling. They knocked off Wazzu in overtime on Saturday after Maarty Leunen knocked down two free throws (something almost unheard of to a Beaver fan) with .5 seconds left. In OT, the Aaron Brooks show continued, with him scoring 4 points and getting two rebounds in the first two minutes. Washington State found themselves down ten with 2:38 to go, and made a valiant comeback, but fell short.
Any Pac-10 basketball fan is licking their chops for Thursday's rematch between Oregon and UCLA.
Not to be overlooked, Washington State and Arizona square off on Thursday as well. Thats going to be an exciting four hours of basketball.
