This moves the Men's team to 7-5 overall, and they have yet to play a conference game. They play Mercer tomorrow, and begin conference play on December 30, when the Beavers host the red-hot Ducks, currently ranked #21 in the nation. They Beavers will have some tough competition this year in the Pac-10; UCLA is off to a 10-0 start and finds themselves ranked at #1. Arizona is 9-1, and ranked 9th. Their only loss came at the hands of Virginia in their first game of the year. Washington is ranked 17th, and Washington State is hot as well, already knocking off Gonzaga.

We're in for a exciting year of basketball. Hopefully the basketball team can follow in the same steps as the football team and have a better-than-expected 2006-2007 season.
