This week, the Beavers only cracked into the Top 25 in the BCS, and are just outside the Top 25 in the Human Polls. They come in at #28 in the AP Poll as you can see above, and #29 in the Coaches Poll. The Harris Interactive Poll also had the Beavs at #29.
Mentally, being a team like Oregon State, I don't know if you want to be ranked going into a tricky but winnable game like the one they have this weekend against UCLA. Obviously, it really doesn't matter, but I think the Beavers are the kind of team that is better when they are unranked in testy games like this.
Either way, the Beavers need one win in the next four games to become bowl eligible, which should be no problem. Run the Pac-10 table, and they might be playing in the Holiday Bowl.
