The Beavers fell to 1-1 on the season yesterday, losing a close game to Southeastern Louisiana, which they won on a shot by Terry Bryant with 15 seconds left. The Beavers got one more chance to tie the game, but Marcel Jones's jump hook from the free throw line with two seconds left clanked out.
?We shot better in the first half, but in the second half we were a little more focused on running our offense a little better" freshman guard Josh Tarver said after the game. "We just couldn?t get any shots. I give credit to the other team, they had great shots at the end; key shots that won them the game.?
