Postgame Reaction :: Oregon State 38, Oregon 31 (2 OT)

What a frickin' game.

We'll get to the post-game analysis and stuff later, but right now, let's just enjoy this win.

It took two overtimes to end the streak in 1998, and it took two overtimes to end the streak in 2007.

GO BEAVERS!

Sieverson & Rodgers
As much as I'd like to simply say that either one of them ended up being the MVP for the game, both had solid performances.

Sieverson got 142 yards in 27 carries - an amazing feat. Obviously he was a huge part of the win.

James Rodgers rushed 25 yards for the winning touchdown which gave him a total of 45 yards rushing in 5 attempts. He is a consistent and promising player. He has rushed the ball 30+ yards almost every game (with the exception of the two in which he didn't play, and one where he got 29). In the game against Stanford, he gained 60 yards in 3 attempts. His greatest contribution thus far was in the Washington game, where in 8 attempts he gained 85 yards.

Both are great and consistent players. If they continue to play this consistently, they are both going to find themselves on NFL teams right out of college.
