"You can't be a Pac-12 town without a Walmart! Even Pullman has a Walmart!"
(Heard in response to the news that Corvallis is in line to get its first ever WalMart store.)
First, a Buffalo Wild Wings, and now a Walmart. Corvallis is definitely moving up into the late 20th century!
Chris Brown has decided to transfer w/our best wishes. We've enjoyed him as part of our team. We wish him well and will be rooting 4 him
The 2011-2012 Men's Basketball Schedule continues to trickle out, and today BTD has learned that Oregon State will face Eastern Washington in a closed-door scrimmage in either late-October or early-November. The exact date, location, and time have yet to be decided.
Closed-door scrimmages against DI opponents have become popular in the last couple of years, making for better competition than your usual pre-season exhibition blowout.
This means that the Beavers will at most have one regular exhibition game, but there is a good chance that they might skip those all together this season.
Hot running back, moving up: Oregon State mighty mite Jacquizz Rodgers, a 5-foot-7 durable machine of a back who averaged 26 touches a game in 36 college games, is looking like a third-rounder and the fourth or fifth back off the board.
"Happy to hear James Rodgers @J_Rodgers8 will be back in Black and Orange next year! #gobeavs"
"There are four things in life you can count on: Death, Taxes, Home Field Clock Operators, and Forbath."
