Oregon St. and Boise St. have developed a decent rivalry in recent years, but there's been only 1 future meeting on the schedule, the Broncos' return visit to Reser on Sept. 24 2016 to complete the home and home series that began in in 2010 with the Beavers' visit to the Blue Turf, a game that ended in a 37-24 win for then 3rd ranked Boise St.
The Beavers of course exacted a measure of revenge last Christmas Eve, with their 38-23 Scoop and Score win in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, as Rashaad Reynolds turned 2 turnovers into an early commanding lead, and ultimately the difference in the game. But while the Broncos could come up as an opponent for Oregon St. in any given year in a bowl game, there's no certainty that such a matchup will ever eventuate.
The rivalry will be renewed in 2022 though, when the Broncos will again come to Corvallis on Sept. 3. The Beavers will return the favor on Sept. 2 the following year, with a trip back to Boise, after the at least 3 games that Boise St. will have played Oregon St. elsewhere.
Last year's win in Honolulu gave the Beavers a 5-3 edge in the series, which dates to 1986, and they are 3-0 against the Broncos in Corvallis, but just 1-3 in Boise.
