Game Notes / Gametracker / ESPN3 Stream (ISP Dependent)
Oregon St. has bounced back the next day they have played after every day when they have suffered a loss this season. And the Beavers will have to do it again tonight, after Kansas St. rallied to tie the game with 2 outs in the 9th inning last evening, and pull away to a 6-2 win in 10 innings.
Four times, its been Freshman All-American RHP Andrew Moore who has righted the ship, picking up 3 wins and a save putting the pieces back together for Oregon St.
Tonight will be another of those, as Moore (13-1, 1.22) will go to the mound in the first must-win game the Beavers have faced since last year at LSU, in the Regionals.
Kansas St., who will be the designated home team tonight, will counter with freshman RHP Blake McFadden (6-2, 4.40). McFadden has 12 starts in his 16 appearances this season.
UCLA, the other remaining Pac-12 team in the postseason, has swept Fullerton St., who was the other remaining western team in NCAA post-season play, to advance to Omaha, and as a result, tonight's game will be carried on ESPN2 as well as ESPNU, and online on ESPN3.
The Wildcats can pick up their first ever ticket to Omaha with another win, while the Beavers must prevail to force a winner-take a trip to the College World Series game, which would be tomorrow at 4 PM.
