Oregon will go with LHP Cole Irvin (10-2, 2.64). Irvin was named the Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week after his complete game shutout in last week's 4-0 win at Ohio St.
Oregon St. will counter with RHP Andrew Moore (10-1, 1.48). Moore is a Eugene native, hailing from North Eugene High.
The Ducks took the Friday night series opener 3-0 behind a 2-hit performance by Tommy Thorpe, setting the tone for the weekend as one where tremendous pitching is likely to be the norm.
