Brandon Hardin Suffers Neck Injury
Former Oregon St. defensive back Brandon Hardin, now playing for the Chicago Bears, suffered a neck injury while making a tackle early in the third quarter of Chicago's preseason game against Washington Saturday night. Hardin stayed down for about 10 minutes before being placed on a backboard, and taken off the field on a cart. Hardin was moving his hands and gave the thumbs up sign as he left the field. "I think Brandon Hardin will be OK," Bears Coach Lovie Smith stated after the game. "He was moving everything. He was alert, conscious throughout. So hopefully everything will be OK with him."
